The Secret World of Buñuel

CCCB

Barcelona

The exhibition The Secret World of Buñuel is a graphic look at the main obsessions of this most celebrated of Spanish film-makers, pointing up the most implacable but best known aspects of his private world: his surrealist roots, his symbols and erotic fetishes, the religious dilemmas, the tense dialectic between social classes and the presence of death as an inseparable companion of his artistic career.
